Exploring human-tech interaction in HR, the changing role of People Analytics, and interdisciplinary approaches including learnings from web analytics.

The shift towards technology-enabled talent solutions have brought about a change in what and how People Analytics teams are expected to contribute. From running statistical analyses on survey data, the work is gradually shifting to assessing the nature of interaction between employees and technology. What does that shift entail? Does it require different talent profiles in People Analytics teams? Does it require different ways of working? Or does it require merging with other fields like customer and web analytics?

This session will explore:

  • The factors triggering a shift towards technology-enabled HR solutions
  • Examples of People Analytics projects that require analysing human-technology interaction
  • Open questions to practitioners around what this shift means.

Learning outcomes:

  • Interdisciplinary approaches to People Analytics.
  • How we can learn from other fields like Marketing and web analytics
  • The future shape of People Analytics, and the skills needed to be successful.
