Dr. Michael Moon is an organisational psychologist and People Analytics expert who specialises in applying analytics and evidenced-based approaches to the management of people. She has nearly 20 years of experience working in HR and HR Technology, as an analyst, practitioner, researcher, and consultant.
She is currently the Director of People Intelligence at Viasat and previously worked as the Director, Global Learning Experience and People Analytics at Align Technology. She is also a Lecturer in the School of Professional Studies at Columbia University in their Human Capital Management programme.
Michael is an active conference speaker and conducts research and writes on a range of topics including AI, HR tech, people analytics, organisational culture, workplace motivation, organisational network analysis, employee engagement/experience, wellbeing, and inclusion.
Having received an autism diagnosis later in life, Michael is exceptionally passionate about disability inclusion and bringing more awareness to neurodiversity.
Michael earned her PhD in Human Capital Management from Bellevue University and has an M.S. in Data Science from Eastern University, and an M.S. in Human Resources from Suffolk University.
