Human-Centred People Analytics: Balancing Perspectives on Opportunities and Risks

However, People Analytics also raises new ethical and societal challenges. With public awareness of data risks rising, and privacy regulations becoming more stringent, failing to address these matters could be both economically and reputationally impactful for organisations. Thus, reconciling the drive for innovation with ethical requirements is imperative.

This presentation aims to discuss both opportunities and ethical and trust issues in People Analytics, and to consider their implications for stakeholders, society, and the future of work. The objectives are to provide an overview of the current relevant research and practice, and inform recommendations for human-centred People Analytics projects in organisations.

This session will explore:

  • Opportunities and risks of People Analytics
  • Suggestions and recommendations for managing ethical risks of People Analytics.

Learning outcomes:

  • A balanced perspective on People Analytics implications
  • A human-centred approach to People Analytics.
