Interviews and qualitative data analysis are essential to identifying the barriers to improved organisational performance.
Yet these tools are greatly underutilised by most people analytics professionals.
This session will explore:
- How to conduct a thorough organisational or business process analysis via a series of conversations
- How to draw the sample of people to talk to, and how thorough do you have to be
- The importance of painting a tapestry with the information, rather than looking for central tendencies in the data
- The bedevilling “small N” problem: why statistical analysis can’t be applied, even when it seems like it should be feasible by surveying lots of people about the issue.
