IFOW focusses on the specific role played by 'fourth industrial revolution' technologies in transforming work, firms and the economy.
As Director of Praxis, Abby ensures that our academic research meets the strategic objectives of our programmes. She recently led the development of guidance on processes of Good Work Algorithmic Impact Assessment, funded by the Information Commissioners Office, which is the basis of a new Lab which will pilot these tools with Responsible AI trailblazers.
Before joining IFOW Abby spent a decade in research, across academic, think tank and public sector contexts. She holds a PhD from the University of Manchester.
