Pilar is a Senior HR professional and Talent Management expert with extensive experience in HR in both the international public and private sectors. She is currently the Global Chief of Workforce Planning and Strategy at the UN World Food Programme, where she has introduced and is leading the implementation of Strategic Workforce Planning at global, functional and country levels.

Previous to this role, Pilar led the Talent Acquisition and Deployment branch at WFP for 6 years. Pilar also spent 15+ years working in the private sector, where she held several senior HR roles in organizations such as Hewlett-Packard, KPMG and Vodafone, both at national and international levels.

Pilar holds a Master's Degree in Economics (Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain), an Advanced Diploma in Business Studies (Michael Smurfit School of Business, UCD, Ireland) and a Master’s in Human Resources Development (College of Europe Bruges, Belgium).
