Kate Naess
Paralympian
Kate Naess combines high-level expertise in psychology with the resilience of an Australian Paralympian. Holding a Master’s degree in Organisational Psychology, she is a Registered Psychologist specializing in high performance, leadership, and well-being in organizations.
Kate’s work spans both the corporate and public sectors, where she applies evidence-based strategies to shape culture, enhance inclusion, and create sustainable, high-performance environments that prioritize well-being.
As a dynamic keynote speaker and seasoned facilitator, Kate is passionate about guiding behavioral change that sticks. She helps leaders develop strategic self-awareness, leverage their strengths, and overcome behaviors that may hinder their success. Whether consulting with executives or speaking to large audiences, her insights inspire and empower.
Kate’s career includes co-designing the WILD Collective, an 8-month leadership program for women with disabilities, and developing the Inclusive Culture Health Check—an assessment tool that evaluates an organization’s commitment to inclusion.
Beyond psychology, Kate’s achievements are impressive. A bronze medalist at the World Triathlon Championships, she represented Australia in triathlon at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games and previously competed in equestrian at the 2010 World Equestrian Games. After retiring from racing, she led Triathlon Australia’s high-performance well-being program and now provides expert commentary on Paralympic triathlon, including for the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Games.
Kate is more than a consultant; she’s a catalyst for transformation, dedicated to helping leaders and organizations unlock their full potential.
