Michael is an experienced HR leader with a track record in strategic roles across the public sector and as a workforce transformation consultant, recently appointed as Director - HR Performance, Workforce Planning and Insights at the University of Sydney.
He has led a wide range of complex workforce transformation and optimisation projects across Australia and Southeast Asia, including the development of 20+ year strategic workforce plans and skills frameworks for emerging capabilities; optimising HR business partner models to improve strategic value; and redesigning workforce planning functions to improve capability and employee engagement outcomes.
Drawing on his qualifications, including a Bachelor of Commerce (Human Resource Management) and a Bachelor of Science (Psychology), he is passionate about using data, storytelling, and evidence-based HR to drive business outcomes.
