Jennifer Dobell, Executive Director, Workforce Strategy and Wellbeing, Commissioning and System Improvement Division, Department of Health Jennifer is a leader in Future Workforce, Strategy and Planning and is currently delivering the 10-Year Health Workforce Strategy for Victoria.
She is leading the Workforce Policy and Strategy area for the State working across the gamut of Health services. on improvements for the system, and leading engagement with the healthcare sector. She is the key advisor for Workforce for the Minister for Health and the Department Secretary to drive health workforce initiatives into the future.
Previous roles – Prior to working at the Dept of Health, she led strategy and workforce functions at Premier and Cabinet, Services Australia, the Australian Taxation Office and in the private sector ANZ Bank and CCH Publishing. She also worked as COO for a large NFP in Shepparton.
As the Head of workforce for the State she is focused on ensuring the longevity and health of our staff across the sector, as Health is a people business and our people matter! She also is an expert in Roadblox, pokemon, footy and hockey and built up this essential capability as a mother of two sons.
