I lead People Insights for Danaher as a Senior Director within HR. I have worked for Danaher and its Operating Companies for 10 years in IT, Marketing, and HR roles, always with a data & analytical focus. Before this I worked in consulting, focusing on creating and building the Advanced Analytics practice of a rapidly growing consultancy. I started my career as a professional Economist, and then spent 6 years as a die-hard entrepreneur before moving into consulting. I’m passionate about the trickiest parts of data science (causality, sample bias, and weird distributions) and about communicating the power that good data science brings to business.

I received my BA in Economics from the University of Virginia, and I’m also an inactive CPA and a CFA Charterholder. I have 5 pets, 4 kids, speak 3 languages, trust that there are only two r’s in strawberry, and have one electric car that I love (but not as much as the pets or kids…probably).
