Dan is a key leader on the MetLife People Planning & Insights team, which in 2023 was recognized with a Brandon Hall gold award for ‘Best Advance in HR Data Analytics,’ and was cited in 2022 research by Insight222 on the top People Analytics teams in the world. Dan leads the consulting team within People Planning & Insights, which provides insights into MetLife’s workforce, enabling Human Resources and business leaders to make informed, fact-based people decisions. Dan is responsible for leading the team’s partnership with HR and business leaders to understand their strategy and guide them through data to achieve their workforce goals. He also leads work identifying the gap between supply and demand for talent, and the most important actions to take to create the workforce needed to deliver on business strategy. In addition to his PP&I work, Dan has spent the last year leading the establishment of a skills strategy for MetLife.

Prior to joining the PP&I team in 2009, Dan was an HR Business Partner at MetLife supporting various control functions. Dan has had a 22-year career in Human Resources in the Insurance/Financial Services and Hospitality industries. He has an MA in Social-Organizational Psychology from Teachers’ College at Columbia University and completed a certification in Survey Design and Analytics from the University of Michigan.

Dan resides in Westchester, NY with his wife, Sarah, and two children Cate (11) and Alex (8). In his personal time, Dan is a musician and songwriter, having played drums and guitar in bands in NYC and Westchester for over 20 years.
